HINT: The diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are included in a larger fault-tracing for the symptom Starter motor not running. 

The steering column lock is checked by the steering column lock module (SCL).

The central electronic module (CEM) controls the power supply to the steering column lock module (SCL).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) receives a signal from the steering column lock module (SCL) that the steering column lock module (SCL) is active when the unit is not to be powered.

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to supply voltage in the power supply cable to the steering column lock module (SCL)

Fault symptom[s] 

• Starter motor does not operate
