Removing The Pipe Assembly

Position a drip pan under the power steering pump.

Remove: 

• the pressure pipe from the pump
• the return hose from the pump.

Remove: 

• the 2 screws
• the bracket.

Remove: 

• the 2 screws
• the bracket.

Place a little paper under the connection in the steering gear to absorb any oil spillage.

Remove the screw.

Pull the pipes out of the clamp. Remove the pipes. Separate the pipes at the steering gear end.

Fold up the metal tabs. Transfer the brackets to the new pipe.
