Camshaft Adaptation, Intake (Ca)
Measurement range -50 CA to +50 CA.
The value indicates how the camshaft flanks relate to reference positions on the crankshaft (the reference position on the crankshaft is 6 CA before top dead center (TDC)).
The value is 27 CA when the camshaft 0-position (angle position) is correct. The normal value is 27 CA ± 8 CA.
The value is updated following adaptation of the camshaft position (angle position). The adaptation is carried out when the camshaft control is not active (fully returned camshaft), the camshaft is moved back fully in certain operating conditions, such as engine braking.
CA = Crank Angle.
