Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information PHM-0068

Condition

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the phone module (PHM) registers that there is no signal from the external SIM card reader.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on (not key position 3) and when the battery voltage is 9-16 V.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in the cable between the SIM card reader and the control module
• Fault in the SIM card reader
• The SIM card holder is not properly pressed into the SIM card reader.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The SIM card reader is not working.
