Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-3A07

Condition

The central electronic module (CEM) checks the voltage in the supply cable to the fuel pump (FP).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that the signal at the relay output is too low.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed at key positions I or II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable to the fuel pump (FP)
• Open-circuit in signal cable to the fuel pump (FP).
• The fuel pump (FP) relay is defective.
• Damaged fuse.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The engine does not start.
