The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the phone module (PHM) detects an open-circuit in the signal to the internal reserve antenna. The reserve antenna is in the phone module (PHM). The reserve antenna is used when a Volvo On Call service is connected and the normal telephone antenna is not functioning.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on (not key position 3) and when the battery voltage is between 9-16 V. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed for a phone module (PHM) with Volvo On Call functionality.

• None.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in the signal to the internal reserve antenna.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Messages in the display.
• No or poor carphone reception.
