Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information PHM-0040
Condition
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the phone module (PHM) detects that the internal SIM card (Subscription Identification Module) for Volvo On Call services is not available. The SIM card is in the control module and is only used for Volvo On Call services.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on (not key position 3) and when the battery voltage is between 9-16 V. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed for a phone module (PHM) with Volvo On Call functionality.
