Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information Mmm-6000

Condition 

The multimedia module (MMM) uses settings from the vehicle configuration file in the central electronic module (CEM).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

• The control module's configuration does not correspond with the vehicle's vehicle configuration.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

• Start-up of the control module.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• The Multimedia module (MMM) is not intended for this vehicle, for example a used control module with different software/hardware has been used.
• Invalid or faulty data obtained from the vehicle configuration file.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Navigation; No Functionality
• Car position on map is incorrect
