Checking The Component And Wiring

Check the cables for the Volvo On Call switch at control module connector A. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Check between:

• terminals #2 (#2) and #13 (#13)
• terminals #2 (#2) and #14 (#14)
• terminals #2 (#2) and #6 (#6).

Check the cables for the Volvo On Call switch. Check for an open-circuit.

Take a reading between control module connector A terminal #2 (#2) and the connector for switch terminal #6 (#18).

Try replacing the switch if the cables are OK.

Remedy as necessary.
