Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information ECM-P117368
Condition
This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) status is an event controlled diagnostic trouble code (DTC). An event controlled diagnostic trouble code (DTC) does not mean that there is a fault in the control module when it is active, but is designed as information.
Engine Control Module (ECM) monitors the front heated oxygen sensor (bank 2). If the control module detects that the heated oxygen sensor value is below or above a certain level for a certain time, the diagnostic trouble code is generated.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the engine is running.
Substitute Value
- Nothing.
Possible Source
- This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is not caused by a fault that needs to be remedied.
HINT: The DTC can be caused by the fuel tank being overfilled with fuel. It may result in fuel vapor entering the EVAP hoses and being drawn into the engine when the EVAP valve is active and venting occurs, which in turn leads to the engine temporarily receiving too much fuel.
Fault symptom[s]
- None.
