Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information AUD-0024

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the Audio module (AUD) registers that the signal on the signal cable from one or both rear loudspeakers is too high or too low.

The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when Audio module (AUD) is activated.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• The signal cable between the rear left-hand loudspeaker and the control module has a short-circuit to supply voltage.
• The signal cable between the rear left-hand loudspeaker and the control module has a short-circuit to ground.
• The signal cable between the rear right-hand loudspeaker and the control module has a short-circuit to supply voltage.
• The signal cable between the rear right-hand loudspeaker and the control module has a short-circuit to ground.

Fault symptom[s] 

• No sound from the loudspeakers.
