• Ignition off
• Wait approx. 1 minute.
• Ignition on
• Read off diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
  NOTE:

  If the diagnostic trouble code no longer is stored, it may have been due to an intermittent malfunction or the brake control module (BCM) has been tested in another vehicle that does not have engine B8444S.

Is the diagnostic trouble code stored? 

• YES 

  see RESETTING AND CONFIGURING THE BRAKE CONTROL MODULE (BCM) 

• NO 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.
