Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information UEM-0014

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) UEM-0014 is stored if diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) UEM-000A, UEM-000B, UEM-000C and UEM-0011 are not stored and the upper electronic module (UEM) registers an internal fault in the front movement sensor or registers that there is an open-circuit or too high a signal in the front movement sensor communication cable when the alarm is active.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) UEM-0014 can be diagnosed when the car is locked from the outside using the remote control.

• None.

Possible Source 

• Contact fault on the sensor and/or control module sides
• Open-circuit in the sensor communication cable
• Short-circuit to supply voltage in the sensor communication cable
• Defective sensor.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Does not alarm the sensor.
