• Update the software in the Steering wheel angle sensor module (SAS) if the vehicle's structure week is earlier than 201041.

  Checking the contact reel 

  1. Start the engine with the vehicle's steering wheel in position straight ahead and then turn the steering wheel to full lock, first to the left and then to the right.
  2. Drive the car at over 10 km/h and steer completely to right and left full lock.
  3. Repeat steps 1-2 again, but instead begin with steering to full lock left and then do the same to full lock right.
  NOTE:

  Note that no anti-skid light turns on and that no message about anti-skid service is required is seen in Driver information module (DIM). If this happens, replace the contact reel.

Was the fault found? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
