The diagnostic trouble code only applies to vehicles equipped with DSTC.
Diagnostic trouble code BCM-U012587 is generated if the brake control module (BCM) registers no signal or a defective signal from the AYC sensor.
Substitute Value
- TC is blocked.
- SC is blocked.
- AYC is blocked.

Possible Source
- Contact resistance in the terminals
- Open circuit on the cables between the brake control module (BCM) and the AYC sensor.
- No AYC sensor connected.
- Internal malfunction in AYC sensor.
NOTE:
This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is not due to an internal hardware fault in the Brake control module (BCM) and must not be remedied by replacing the control module.

- General warning light on.
- Anti-spin is not operational.
- The stability function is not operational.
- The anti-skid function is not operational.
