Accelerometer, Signal

NOTE:

Only vehicles with DSTC and AWD.

The value shows the accelerometer's signal, that is, the vehicle's longitudinal inclination. The signal from the accelerometer, which is built in to the stability sensor (BSC), give s the brake control module (BCM) information about the vehicle's longitudinal acceleration. Positive value indicates acceleration, that is, the front of the vehicle is raised. Negative value indicates retardation, that is, the front of the vehicle is lowered.

Measurement range: -20 till +20 m/s2

HINT: The value can be affected by changing the vehicle's longitudinal inclination, e. g., by raising or lowering the vehicle's front or rear end.
