Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Condition
The driver door/passenger door module (DDM/PDM) communicates with the control module in each rear door via LIN-communication. The control module left rear door/right rear door (LDM/RDM) supplies the control module driver's door/passenger door (DDM/PDM) with information about status of the button for the power window.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The button for power window in left or right rear door has been pressed in for more than 20 seconds.
The following also applies to factories:
- Signal missing between button for power window in left or right rear door and control module left rear door/right rear door (LDM/RDM).
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.
The following also applies to factories:
- Self-test
The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Possible Source
- Button for power window in left or right rear door has jammed in pressed position.
- Damaged control panel in left or right rear door.

- Open circuit on signal line between button for power window in left or right rear door and control module left rear door/right rear door (LDM/RDM).
