Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information ECM-P011126
Condition
Engine control module (ECM) checks the signal from the temperature sensor in the intake manifold at two different driving conditions. Check done first at high airflow with vehicle speed, then at idle and stationary vehicle.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The temperature difference at these two measuring points is unreasonably similar.
NOTE:
The mass air flow sensor and air temperature sensor are integrated in the same component.
NOTE:
The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute Value
- The value for the inlet temperature is generated to equal to the value for the fuel temperature.
Possible Source
- Contact resistance in connector.
- Damaged air temperature sensor (integrated in mass air flow sensor).

- Warning lights and chimes/Malfunction Indicator Light ("Check engine" light) indication/no indication
