Check Load On Steering Column Lock

There are no relevant diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) for text ID 252 and 165.

This text message means that the steering column lock is under load.

• Remove the key from the ignition switch.
• Turn the steering wheel 90° to the right.
• Insert the key in the ignition switch.
• Check the function of the steering column lock.

Is the function OK? 

• YES 

  Refer to FAULT-TRACING INFORMATION 

• NO 

  Refer to REPLACING THE STEERING COLUMN LOCK MODULE (SCL)
