Parameters, Status

HALL SENSORS

The parameters indicate the status of the hall sensors.

Possible status:

SWITCH HANDLE

The parameter indicates the status of the outer opening handle.

Possible status:

SWITCH BOOT LID CLOSING

The parameter shows the status of the boot lid close switch. This switch is on the underneath of the boot lid.

Possible status:

SENSOR MOTOR CLOSURE, BOOT LID

The parameter has the value "active" when boot lid closing has finished reversing, otherwise "inactive".

SENSOR 1 (INNER LOCK POSITION)

The parameter has the value "active" if the boot lid is fully closed (inner lock position), otherwise "not active".

SENSOR 2 (OUTER LOCK POSITION)

The parameter has the value "active" if the boot lid is in the inner lock position (fully closed) or in the outer lock position, and "not active" if the boot lid is open.

LAST AFFECTING CAUSE

The parameter describes the last cause why the Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) stopped the opening or closing phases.

Possible status:

LAST ACTIVATION

The parameter describes the last activation of the liftgate.

Possible status:

NON APPROVED OPENING, CAUSE

The parameter describes the last cause why opening the liftgate was refused. The parameter is only updated if the liftgate was opened using the external handle.

Possible status:

NON APPROVED CLOSING, CAUSE

The parameter describes the last cause why closing the liftgate was refused. The parameter is only updated if the liftgate was closed using the external handle or with the external close button on the liftgate.

Possible status:

LIGHTING, LOAD COMPARTMENT

Active: LED in the cargo compartment lighting is on.

Not active: LED in the cargo compartment lighting is off.

MOTOR BOOT LID OPENING, STATUS

The parameter indicates whether the boot lid opening motor is in the opening phase, closing phase or if it is inactive.

MOTOR CLOSING, BOOT LID

Indicates the status of the motor that draws the boot lid in the final bit. Possible status is closing, reversing or inactive.

DEGREE OF OPENING, BOOT LID

The parameter indicates the actual degree of opening for the boot lid, expressed in number of hall pulses.

Max value is around 750 and 900 hall pulses.

LEARNED MAXIMUM DEGREE OF OPENING, BOOT LID

The parameter indicates the learned maximum degree of opening for the boot lid expressed in number of hall pulses, i.e. the stop position that the user can program.

Minimum programmable value is 260 hall pulses (corresponds to about 30 degrees opening angle).

MOTOR PROTECTION, STATUS

The parameter indicates whether the motor protection has been activated or not.

LAST AFFECTING CAUSE

The parameter also indicates that the Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) cancelled operation of the boot lid.

LAST START OF BOOT LID OPENING, CAUSE

The parameter indicates the cause why the Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) started opening the boot lid.

NON APPROVED BOOT LID OPENING, CAUSE

The parameter indicates the cause why the Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) did not open the lid.

NON APPROVED CLOSING OF THE BOOT LID, CAUSE

The parameter indicates the cause why the Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) did not close the lid.

CORRECT POWER OPERATED TAILGATE MODULE (POT) INSTALLED

The parameter indicates whether the correct type of Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) has been installed in the vehicle, i.e. if the type of control module that has been installed corresponds with the content in the actual vehicle configuration.

The possible values "Yes" if correct type of control module has been installed, "No" if the vehicle configuration indicates that the vehicle should be/not be equipped with another type of Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT).
