Distribution Valve (V60 Plug-In Hybrid Only)

A distribution valve is connected in the cooling system. Its purpose is to allow switching between the water flow in the normal cooling circuit and a smaller sub-circuit.

The distribution valve allows a certain control over how the thermal energy is distributed between the engine and the vehicle interior, resulting in faster heating and less energy loss from the engine.
