Component Specifications

SHIFT SOLENOIDS

Component  Note  Resistance (Ω)
Gear shift solenoid S1, S2 Resistance between the solenoid pins and the solenoid casing/transmission housing. +20°C = 11-15 Ω

Other values, see diagram. When measuring at other temperature than +20 °C the check-measurement shall be performed at +20 °C. This is to ensure if the resistance is correct or not.

LINEAR PRESSURE SOLENOID SLT AND LOCK-UP SOLENOID SLU

Component  Note  Resistance (Ω)
Lock-up solenoid (SLU)
Linear pressure solenoid (SLT)
Resistance between solenoid pins. +20 °C= 5.0 - 5.6 Ω

Other values, see diagram. When measuring at other temperature than +20 °C the check-measurement shall be performed at +20 °C. This is to ensure if the resistance is correct or not.

LINEAR PRESSURE SOLENOID SLB1, SLC1, SLC2, SLC3

Component  Note  Resistance (Ω)
Linear pressure solenoid (SLB1), (SLC1), (SLC2), (SLC3) Resistance between solenoid pins. +20 °C= 5.0 - 5.6 Ω

Other values, see diagram. When measuring at other temperature than +20 °C the check-measurement shall be performed at +20 °C. This is to ensure if the resistance is correct or not.

OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Component  Note  Resistance (Ω)
Oil temperature sensor Resistance between the temperature sensor terminals. +10 °C = 5587 - 7303 Ω
+25 °C≈ 3500 Ω
+110 °C = 223 - 271 Ω

Resistance decreases with increasing temperature.

A test measurement must be taken at both temperatures. This is to establish if the resistance is correct or not.

SOLENOID P-POSITION LOCKOUT

Component  Note  Resistance (Ω)
Solenoid p-position lockout Resistance between the solenoid's connections +20°C = 35-37 Ω
