Software Overview

The ACU contains drivers for hardware and all connections. The Android operating system forms the base of the control module functions. The operating system includes Java Virtual Machine , which forms the base to run Java programs. Java programs installed on the control module can use the existing hardware such as: screen, touch panel , connect to WiFi, SD card and USB devices as well as receive information such as speed and GPS information etc. Volvo does not take responsibility for the content/functions in the supplied applications.
