Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU) [2011-2017]: Function: Audio

The Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU) uses balanced audio outputs (R+/R- and L+/L-). The advantage of these is that they minimize interference and do not amplify it. The Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU) is connected to AUX input 2 on the integrated audio module (IAM).
