Video Signal

The video signal between the Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU) and Infotainment Control Module (ICM) is of the LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) type. When the Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU) is off or in standby the video signal is sent from the Integrated Audio Module (IAM) and passes the Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU) to the Infotainment Control Module (ICM), which shows the image on the front screen.

When the Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU) is active, a relay activates inside the control module and the image from it appears on the front screen. If the Accessory Connectivity Unit (ACU) is not powered, the ordinary image from the infotainment system appears on the screen.
