Controlling Functions
The functions in the Infotainment Head Unit (IHU) (4/185) are controlled with the keypad on Climate Control Module (CCM) (4/6), the Infotainment remote control or via Steering Wheel Switch Right (SWSR). The signals from the keypad on Climate Control Module (CCM) are sent via the CAN. The signals from Steering Wheel Switch Right (SWSR) are sent via LIN. The signals from the remote control are sent via IR.
The following can be controlled using the keypads:
- Scroll/forward/search
A short button press scrolls between disc tracks, preset radio stations (not on digital radio) or chapter (only for DVDs). A long button press fast forwards disc tracks or searches for the next available radio station.
- VOL

- TUNE

A long press leads to the main view, or if you are already in the view for the top menu level, from which the same options as the buttons on the center console can be reached.
