This connection handles CAN signals, the signal to the screen in the infotainment control module (ICM) and connects the Parking Assistance Camera (PAC) to power. The Parking Assistance Camera (PAC) is powered via a fuse at the central electronic module (CEM) and is grounded in the body.

The Parking Assistance Camera (PAC) is activated at ignition position II when reverse is engaged (on the condition that the parking camera is activated by auto activation in the menu on the infotainment control module (ICM)). The Parking Assistance Camera (PAC) can also be activated via a button on the climate control module (CCM).

Parking Assistance Camera (PAC) switches off:

For the Parking Assistance Camera (PAC) settings can be made for the camera, to display fields for viewing and marking objects behind and to display guidelines. If a trailer is connected electrically to the vehicle, neither field nor guidelines will appear.
