On a faulty feed pump, the resistance between #1 and #2 should be very high or infinite.

CHECKING THE ELECTRIC FEED PUMP
Check 1
Measure the resistance between the feed pump casing and terminal pin #1. The value should be much greater or infinite.
Check 2
Measure the resistance between the feed pump casing and terminal pin #2. The value should be much greater or infinite.
