Control Panel Rear Comfort Functions (Only Certain Versions)
The control panel is located between the rear seats and includes switches for the following functions:
- Rear seat backrest angle forward/backward (Ignition position II)
- Rear window sun curtain forward/backward (Ignition position II)
- Passenger seat height adjustment forward/backward (Unlocked position)
- Rear seat massage (three active positions) (Engine running)
- Rear seat ventilation (three active positions) (Engine running)
- Rear seat heating (three active positions) (Engine running)
The positions of the switches for massage, seat ventilation and seat heating are sent with LIN communication to the rear seat function module (RSX). The rear backrest angle switch has separate signal wires to the rear seat function module (RSX). Switches for passenger seat height adjustment and rear window sun curtains are hard wired directly to each electric motor.
General lighting in the rear seat function control panel is powered by the comfort lighting via the central electronic module (CEM) and is active with an unlocked car.
