Checking Communication With The Infotainment Control Module (ICM)

HINT: The CAN communication with the control module is OK if the control module ID can be read off. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was probably stored by an intermittent fault in the wiring and could be more difficult to find.

• Try to communicate with the infotainment control module (ICM) by reading off the control module ID
• Click on the symbol for VCT2000 in VIDA (Volvo scan tool) to begin reading off
