Checking The Connectors And Cables

Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #B26 (#C26) and accelerator pedal (AP) position sensor terminal #5 (wiring side). Check for an open-circuit. Check for loose connections. Check for contact resistance. Check for oxidation.

Try a new accelerator pedal (AP) position sensor if no fault is found and the fault is permanent.

Remedy as necessary.
