Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information Sub-0003

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUB-003 is stored if the subwoofer module (SUB) registers an open-circuit in the signal cable for voice coil 2 in the bass speaker.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUB-0003 can only be diagnosed when powered (12 V). In other words, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is turned from position 0 to positions II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in the signal cable from the amplifier and voice coil 2 in the subwoofer module (SUB).

Fault symptom[s] 

• No sound from the loudspeakers
• Muffled sound from the loudspeaker.
