Checking The Component

The infotainment control module (ICM) has registered that there is no communication with the CD module (MP2).

If the fault is intermittent, it has been registered previously but is no longer present. Intermittent faults can be caused by interference at start up of the CD player or may be a different type of fault which occurs on different occasions. The fault is evaluated depending on how it occurs. If the fault recurs, replace the CD player.

In the event of a permanent fault, replace the CD player.

Remedy as necessary.
