Checking The Component And Wiring

Check the wiring between phone module (PHM) connector A and the SIM card reader connector. Check for an open-circuit.

Take readings between:

control module connector A terminal #9 (#9) and SIM card reader connector terminal #1
control module connector A terminal #8 (#8) and SIM card reader connector terminal #2
control module connector A terminal #7 (#7) and SIM card reader connector terminal #3
control module connector A terminal #21 (#21) and SIM card reader connector terminal #4
control module connector A terminal #19 (#19) and SIM card reader connector terminal #5
control module connector A terminal #20 (#20) and SIM card reader connector terminal #6.

Check the connectors for loose connections, damaged or bent terminal pins and oxidation.

Try replacing the SIM card reader if no fault is found in the cable.

Remedy as necessary.
