Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information DEM-U030054: Notes
Condition
Before the vehicle leaves the production line, the differential electronic module (DEM) must be approved by the production flag in the differential electronic module (DEM) being activated.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The production flag has not been activated.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
NOTE:
The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

- Four wheel drive is blocked.
Possible Source
- Differential electronic module (DEM) has not been approved in production.
