Checking The Relay

Check that the relay is fitted correctly.

At the same time check the relay connections, in particular the connection according to the table below, for an intermittent short circuit to voltage supply as described in, see SHORT-CIRCUIT TO SUPPLY VOLTAGE, INTERMITTENT FAULTS , contact resistance and oxidation as described in CONTACT RESISTANCE AND OXIDATION and a loose contact as described in LOOSE CONNECTIONS (TERMINALS) .
