Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information ECM-P073768

Condition 

Transmission control module (TCM) can request increased RPM before a downshift. Request is sent to engine control module (ECM) via the CAN-network.

If engine control module (ECM) for some reason does not allow this RPM increase, e. g., vehicle speed too low, the diagnostic trouble code is generated.

The diagnostic trouble code is only an information code, confirming that engine control module (ECM) has denied requested RPM increase.
