Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-928C is stored if the engine control module (ECM), when the ignition is switched on, registers a fault in the steering wheel module or in its Control area network (CAN) communication.

Substitute Value 

Cruise control switched off.

Possible Source 

Faulty signal: 

• Fault trace the steering wheel module
• Fault trace the central electronic module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Cruise control does not function at all.
