Checking Communication With The Gear Selector Module (GSM)

Ignition on
Gear selector in position P
Check if communication with the gear selector module (GSM) functions by reading the status for the Winter program selector (W ).
Activate and deactivate the function by pressing the switch. The status must change.
The fault is permanent if the value does not change.

If the status switches it means that the fault was present previously but is not active now. There is an intermittent fault.
