Replacing The Component

The multimedia module (MMM) has registered an internal fault.

It may be possible to remedy the fault by downloading new software into the control module. This makes the upgraded software more tolerant to short, intermittent disruptions. The software in Multimedia module (MMM) is upgraded with a cd-disc.

If the fault recurs, replace the multimedia module (MMM).

HINT: After replacement, up to 15 minutes of mixed driving may be needed before the control module is calibrated and shows correct traffic information.
