Checking The Component
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ICM-1D03 indicates that the software download has failed. This may be because the software for an infotainment control module (ICM) with alphanumeric display has been downloaded into a module with a graphic display or vice-versa.
Check the software and display/control module by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol. Is the correct software installed for the display that is installed?
- If not, try programming the display/control module with the correct software. See 8691181
- If the display/control module and software are correct, try reloading the same software using 8691181 .
