Automatic Transmission

Only vehicles that have an automatic transmission.

The engine control module (ECM) calculates the status of the signal from the transmission control module (TCM) via CAN.

ON = the gear selector is in position "D" or another gear is selected.

OFF = the gear selector is in position "P" or "N"
