Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information ECM-P02A068
Condition
The Engine control module (ECM) continually monitors the engine's exhaust gases from the oxygen content in the exhaust gases (the lambda value).
Using the built-in functions, the control module can determine the lambda value for each cylinder individually.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The Engine control module (ECM) detects that the deviation in the lambda value between the cylinders in bank 2 (cyl. 4-6) is too great to compensate using individual fuel trim.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Individual cylinder fuel trim active.
NOTE:
The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute Value
- Individual cylinder fuel trim is deactivated.
Possible Source
- Mechanical fault causes in the engine.
Fault symptom[s]
- None.
