Intermittent Fault
- Ignition off.
Check the transmission control module (TCM) and transmission connectors. Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to CONTACT RESISTANCE AND OXIDATION .
Check the wiring between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #A41 (#A41) and transmission connector terminal #A1. Check the wiring between control module terminal #A59 (#A59) and transmission connector terminal #A2. Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to OPEN-CIRCUIT, INTERMITTENT FAULTS . Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to SHORT-CIRCUIT TO GROUND, INTERMITTENT FAULTS . Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to SHORT-CIRCUIT TO SUPPLY VOLTAGE, INTERMITTENT FAULTS .
Remedy as necessary.
