Checking For An Open-Circuit, Contact Resistance And Oxidation

Check the ground terminals 31/96 and the cables between ground terminals and control module #A53 for an open-circuit according to OPEN-CIRCUIT, PERMANENT FAULTS and contact resistance and oxidation according to CONTACT RESISTANCE AND OXIDATION .

Check ground lead between battery and bodywork for an open-circuit according to OPEN-CIRCUIT, PERMANENT FAULTS and contact resistance and oxidation according to CHECKING WIRING AND TERMINALS. PERMANENT FAULT .
