Checking For Open-Circuits And Short-Circuits

Check the cable between sun roof module (SRM) terminal #10A and ground, left A-post. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

Check the cable between the sun roof module (SRM) terminal #1A and fuse 11C/7 (11C/13 XC90) in the passenger compartment fuse box for a short-circuit to ground or an open-circuit.

Replace the cable if a fault is found.

After carrying out repairs, the sun roof module (SRM) should be calibrated. See SUN ROOF MODULE (SRM), CALIBRATING .
