Yaw Angle Signal (DSTC)

NOTE:

Only vehicles with DSTC.

The value shows yaw angle speed, that is, how fast the vehicle is turned on level ground. The signal from the yaw speed sensor, which is built in to the stability sensor (BSC), give s the brake control module (BCM) information about the vehicle's yaw angle speed (steering direction) in °/s. Positive value indicate steering direction to the left, negative value indicates steering direction to the right.

Measurement range: -80 till +80°/s.

HINT: The value can be affected by sudden lateral movement of the vehicle's rear end or front end.
