Fault Tracing: Verification: Verification

HINT: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.

• Ignition off
• Reinstall the components, reconnect the connectors etc.
• The gear shift position sensor for the transmission must be calibrated if the control module has been disconnected.

  HINT: Save a bookmark. Cancel fault-tracing and select Vehicle communication in VIDA (Volvo scan tool). 

• Start the engine.

  Test drive the vehicle following: TEST DRIVE SCHEDULE, DESCRIPTION

  Check that the transmission does not display any obvious  function faults.

  NOTE:

  When test driving, the oil temperature must be above 20 °C.

Is the function OK? 

• YES 

  VERIFIED:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
