Software Overview

The ACU contains drivers for hardware and all connections. The Android operating system forms the base of the control module functions. The operating system includes Java Virtual Machine, which forms the base to run Java programs. Java programs installed on the control module can use the existing hardware such as: screen, touch panel, connect to WiFi, SD card and USB devices as well as receive information such as speed and GPS information etc. Volvo does not take responsibility for the content/functions in the supplied applications.
