DESCRIPTION OF GLOBAL PARAMETERS
CONTROL MODULE POWER SUPPLY
Measurement range: 0 - 20.4 V.
Shows the current voltage of the 30-feed to Power Steering Control Module (PSCM).
TEMPERATURE IN THE CONTROL MODULE
Measurement range: -40 - 215 °C.
Shows the current temperature that the internal thermistor in the Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) registers.
HINT: A diagnostic trouble code will be set if the temperature exceeds 125 °C or if the temperature is below -40 °C. A high outdoor temperature or engine compartment temperature in combination with extreme driving can cause a diagnostic trouble code to be set.
VEHICLE SPEED
Measurement range: 0 - 255 km/h.
Shows the current vehicle speed. The Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) receives the speed signal via CAN, from the brake control module (BCM).
STEERING, TORQUE
Measurement range: -12.7 - +12.8 Nm
Indicates the current torque from the electric motor.
